These Animal Lovers Transformed Parts of their Homes for their Pets

We 'all love our fur babies! They're an integral part of our families, and we treat them as such. But, let's talk about Interiors and Interior Details that have been designed quite literally for the well being of the homeowner's pets!

  1. Brooklyn, NY Home. Designed by BFDO Architects, this beautiful home was carefully designed to integrate the homeowner's love for reading with their other love: their cats. Small nooks and walkways adorn the interior of this space, giving it architectural detail, while passively creating "safe" spaces for their very shy cats.

2. A Room Designed for the Pup. This room, featured in the "House Beautiful Whole Home Project," was definitely designed with the fur baby in mind. They completely transformed their home's mudroom into a space designed for muddy paws, treats, and a place to place his toys. To read more about this space, click the below link.

3. World's Tiniest Door. If this isn't the cutest thing you've ever seen, then I don't know what is! These homeowners had remodeled their entire home, and realized that the doggy door doesn't have to be tacky! Their contractors scaled down the human-sized doors in their house, and viola!

4. A Trundle for Fido. I'm sure many of us end up sleeping in uncomfortable positions to cater to our fur babies crawling into bed with us. These homeowners found just the solution for their two doggos insisting on sleeping with them.
